After Care Instructions for Piercings
We recommend H2Ocean to heal all of your piercings.
The ingredients of H2Ocean are Purified Water, Sea Salt, Lysozyme and Sodium Benzoate, and all natural trace elements and minerals that your body already produces on its own to remain healthy.
♦ DO NOT touch the body piercing for anything but cleaning, and always be sure to wash your hands with an antibacterial soap immediately before beginning the cleaning process.
♦ DO NOT remove jewelry. A piercing may sometimes take many months to completely heal. Changing or removing jewelry during this time can cause harm to your piercing.
♦ DO NOT let the piercing come in contact with another personÂ’s bodily fluids. Also, do not let anyone else touch, kiss, or lick the piercing.
♦ DO NOT use anything to clean or heal your piercing that hasnÂ’t been recommended by your piercer at Southside Tattoo.
NO Alcohol!
NO Hydrogen Peroxide!
NO Hand Soap!
NO Vaseline!
(These are absolutely NOT to be used!)
♦ Avoid hot tubs and pools during the healing process.
♦ Reduce the intake of alcohol, drugs, caffeine, and aspirin during the initial healing process.
♦ Avoid direct sunlight or tanning beds for a few weeks. Definitely avoid tanning oils, lotions, and sand.
♦ Avoid tight fitting clothes that may irritate a new body piercing.
♦ Change your bed sheets at least once a week.
♦ Take IBUPROFEN or a ZINC SUPPLEMENT throughout the healing process. This will accelerate the healing and tissue regeneration.
